Review: Cazzette, Tom Staar @ Avalon Hollywood 8/2/13
Last Friday night Cazzette and Tom Staar brought down the house for Control Fridays at Avalon Hollywood. Tom Staar started us off while Cazzette jumped on after for what would be another amazing Friday night. Hit the break for the full review.
As we entered Avalon we felt great vibes from the beginning and were set on dancing the night away. The bass was pumping, the lasers were flashing, and the dance floor was poppin’. Tom Staar was on dropping bangers and completely set the tone for a fun filled night. Not only does Tom kill it on the decks but as a founding member of Moda, he has played a big part in creating one of UK’s new music brands with Jaymo and Andy George.
Up next was Alexander Björklund and Sebastian Furrer who make up the Swedish duo Cazzette. As soon as they started their set you could feel the energy in the room heighten even more as the crowd on the dance floor moved toward the front. One thing great about Cazzette is they mix everything from House, to Electro, to even Trap music into their sets. They are a jack of all trades when it comes to producing their music. Unfortunately they didn’t bring out their Cassette tape masks for this performance but that didn’t stop anyone from raging just as hard. At one point Alexander even went down into the crowd to dance with his fans. As always Control Fridays put on another awesome event at Avalon Hollywood.
