Hardstyle fans were in for one hell of a show last Saturday night as Headhunterz presented the first ever US HARD with STYLE at the NOS Events Center. The event was in association with Insomniac’s Basscon and featured a massive lineup including Headhunterz, Wildstylez, Adrenalize, Rebourne, and Kayzo. This event was the perfect chance for fans to get together at one of their most beloved venues being that it was previously used for Insomniac’s Wonderland events. As we arrived we could heard the bass pumping from outside the venue and we were excited to attend our first hardstyle event.
Insomniac did an amazing job this time around with parking and security having us inside the venue in no time. As we entered we noticed tons of dedicated hardstyle fans decked out in rave attire trading kandi and taking photos around the outdoor NOS Events Center pond. HARD with STYLE definitely brought together a family-like community of fans this night and it was really great to see.
As we entered the Citris building where the stage was set up, we were immediately blown away by the visuals. Insomniac’s production was completely out of this world. The stage featured two LED screens. One in front of the DJ booth and one raised behind it. The stage also featured some of the most insane laser work we’ve ever seen. Lasers shot to the back of the building and flickered back and forth faster than we’ve seen at some major festivals. We could not get enough of them and they definitively added to the whole experience of the night.
As for the music, every single DJ absolutely killed it. Los Angeles producer Kayzo dropped all his latest hardstyle remixes that have been blowing up as of late. The signature bass-heavy hardstyle thumps continued on all night as Headhunterz and Wildstylez continued to play next. Fans up front were jumping all night and shufflers threw it down in the back. There’s something about the sound of hardstyle that makes fans goes insane. When it came to the last set of the night Headhunterz, Wildstylez, Adrenalize, Rebourne, and Kayzo joined each on stage for a Hard with All Stars b2b2b2b2b set. It was complete mayhem as they stood on top of the DJ table, amping up the crowd while taking turns on the decks. There was so many different tracks from each artist dropped that it blew the roof off the place. As the night came to a close, we left drenched in sweat with our ears still ringing. It was awesome and totally worth it. We’d like to thank Insomniac and Headhunterz for doing an amazing job on their first US HARD with STYLE event! You can be sure we’ll be there for the next one and so should you!
