On November 3rd 2012, HARD Day of The Dead took place at the Los Angeles Historic Park. It was a sell out music festival of over 35,000 people in attendance. With performances by Knife Party, Major Lazer, Tommy Trash, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Justice and more this was event for the record books. It was an insane but fun night filled with good music and good people (for the most part) and up above you can see how it all went down.
This past week on September 25th, Steve Aoki & Kaskade showed up to the Los Angeles Film school for an up close and personal Q & A session for Grammy U students. The event was streamed online through Google+ Hangout for those who were unable to attend. Students from San Francisco as well as Chicago were logged in to view the event online live as we all did in the theater. Robin Nixon the event moderator then introduced Steve Aoki and Kaskade into the theater and went straight into the Q & A. Click through the break for the full story.

Damn Michael Woods came hard with this one. At first glance I thought this is a really nice melodic track but as soon as the 2:08 mark came around it totally switched up. “Warrior” proves Michael Woods has some great talent and can totally change up his style. Loving the sound of this and if you are in Los Angeles March 30th you should check out Michael Woods at Avalon.
Tiesto’s YouTube series is finally coming to an end after 10 great episodes and what better city to end it than Los Angeles. I was able to go to this show and just watching this video brings back some amazing memories of the event. Tiesto is already one of the worlds best DJs and he is only going to get bigger.
Nicky Romero surpasses 50,000 followers on Twitter yesterday so he decided to give us this new hour long mix. It’s a great mix to get you through this Monday featuring tracks from David Guetta, Sander Van Doorn, Tommy Trash, Albin Myers, Hardwell, and more. Check it out below and if you are going to be in the Los Angeles area tomorrow 2/28 you should go see Nicky at Greystone Manor.
Tommy Trash decides to entice us with this hour long mix before his upcoming US tour. Seriously feels like Tommy Trash can’t make bad music. This one starts off with his remix to Steve Aoki’s “Ladi Dadi” (Which I can’t take off repeat at the moment) and goes through some Nicky Romero, Chris Lake, Hardwell, Skrillex, and more. If you’re going to be in Los Angeles March 19th come party with us as we go to see Tommy Trash at The Yost Theater. Tracklist after the break.
