‘As premiered at ADE and featured in Hardwell’s Essential Mix, this landmark collaboration sets aside the genre boundaries with intense force, fusing infectious synth hooks and peak stamina into an anthem capable of maximal floor damage right through to the summer festival season. ‘The Code’ sets the precedent to an all time high for Revealed’s output throughout 2013.’ Check it out above and grab it when it is officially released on February 4th.
Electric Daisy Carnival made its New York debut last year in 2012. Now it is coming back for 2013 before its final stop in Las Vegas. Every time we watch these EDC teasers they give us goosebumps and we can’t wait to dance under the electric sky once again!
The teaser for Zedd’s debut album titled Clarity has now been released and when I say teaser, I really mean it. Zedd has come a long way since last year and you can totally tell his production skills have increased greatly. The few tracks that have already been released from the album have been amazing and I can’t wait to hear it all when it is released on iTunes on October 2nd (Everywhere else October 9th).
One of my favorite releases of this year has just dropped an official video teaser. Porter Robinson’s video for “Language” looks to be set out in the wilderness as a girl runs away from some weird looking creatures. This video looks all too weird for now but keep a look out for the full release.
It seems as if the guys of Milk N Cookies had an alien encounter in the woods of Chicago, Illinois and here is the footage of what happened. These guys are hilarious and make sure you watch till the end of the video for a preview of their upcoming banger titled “I Want To Believe.” Their last remix to Sidney Samson’s “Get Low” was hot so I look forward to this new release. No idea what this “Cosmic Opera” is all about but from the looks of the video above it feels like a mix between EDM, Opera, and Cirque Du Soleil. I’m pretty intrigued about this trailer because with all those elements combined into one this could be a pretty great idea. It’s tagline being “An extrasensory dance music event series” begins in New York City February 23rd & 24th. Hopefully we’ll get some more information soon.
UPDATE
New information has been released and it looks like Swedish House Mafia’s Axwell is going to be DJing the Cosmic Opera at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom beginning February 24th. “Like an opera, it will take place in “acts” in the form of three monthly, six-hour-long events that will integrate the high-tech 3D mapping techniques used by Skrillex and Deadmau5 on their tours. Baroque-era performers, along with dancers and acrobats, will be placed throughout the room to create a 360-degree spectacle that pays homage to the venue’s history.” Read the rest of the story at Rolling Stone.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard some new Rusko and in this new teaser video for his upcoming NYE events we get a lil taste of his upcoming stuff. I love Rusko’s music and the way he integrates the vocals. Plus you can’t forget how awesome his infamous lightbulb stage set up is. No word on when the new album will be released but of course it will be sometime next year.
