I can’t wait for the world to hear it!”

On November 3rd 2012, HARD Day of The Dead took place at the Los Angeles Historic Park. It was a sell out music festival of over 35,000 people in attendance. With performances by Knife Party, Major Lazer, Tommy Trash, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Justice and more this was event for the record books. It was an insane but fun night filled with good music and good people (for the most part) and up above you can see how it all went down.

No idea what this “Cosmic Opera” is all about but from the looks of the video above it feels like a mix between EDM, Opera, and Cirque Du Soleil. I’m pretty intrigued about this trailer because with all those elements combined into one this could be a pretty great idea. It’s tagline being “An extrasensory dance music event series” begins in New York City February 23rd & 24th. Hopefully we’ll get some more information soon.

UPDATE

New information has been released and it looks like Swedish House Mafia’s Axwell is going to be DJing the Cosmic Opera at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom beginning February 24th. “Like an opera, it will take place in “acts” in the form of three monthly, six-hour-long events that will integrate the high-tech 3D mapping techniques used by Skrillex and Deadmau5 on their tours. Baroque-era performers, along with dancers and acrobats, will be placed throughout the room to create a 360-degree spectacle that pays homage to the venue’s history.” Read the rest of the story at Rolling Stone.
