Last night was the three year anniversary at Avalon for there Control parties on Friday nights. Who would they have for this special event already having hosted Caspa, Dillion Francis, Bingo Players, and Skrillex for his LA Mothership tour? None other than the Australian house DJ Tommy Trash. Know for his real dirty sound, Tommy Trash sure didn’t disappoint by playing all his singles as well as other great singles from other artist to contribute in his mix. For the full review click through the break.

Starting off with a remix to Swedish House Mafia’s “Save the World” you know its gonna be an awesome night with such a banger. Normally that’s a song you hear in middle of sets or to close a set because everything from the lyrics to the beat of that song always gets the crowd united as one. Kudos to Tommy Trash to start off with such a great track. We later went into the night hearing all of Tommy Trash’s remixes and we know he has plenty from “Ladi Dadi” by Steve Aoki to his remix of “Shave It” by Zedd. We also heard his original songs like “Sex, Drugs, Rock N Roll” which totally sums up an era of lifestyle certain people in LA live and with his grimy beat to that song, it definitely brought a different mode to Avalon. Everyone started chanting “Sex, Drugs, Rock N Roll”  while another one of my favorites tracks being “Monkey See Monkey Do” brought out a very chill melody but still keeping everyone dancing to the beat.

Mr.Trash has proven he can generate hit after hit with his remix to Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party’s anthem “Antidote” as well as his own singles like “Future Folks” which have been heard in many sets last year like Tiesto’s Club Life tour Los Angeles to Steve Angello’s Escape from Wonderland set. You can catch Tommy Trash touring all over America this year with stops at the famous Ultra Music Festival in the upcoming weeks as well as with Dirty South at Club Mansion the week of UMF. If you have Mr. Trash coming to a city near you I would totally recommend his getting Trashed at his America tour stops. Rumor has it he will be gone this whole year from his hometown of Australia to spend with his fans worldwide, so you definitely don’t want to miss this man here. Last but not least, shout out to Party Panda for lending his iconic panda mask to Tommy Trash (which you can see in the video below) while mixing his set. That just shows Tommy Trash knows to have a good time with his fans.
