Marquee Dayclub and Nightclub in Las Vegas recently announced that Kaskade would have a 2013 Residency. The residency would span through 16 weeks during this summer and have 24 performances with the Grammy nominated DJ. Summer Lovin’ began last weekend on May 4th with a performance at the Nightclub and a performance at the Dayclub the following day. We were fortunate enough to attend the opening day at Marquee Dayclub on the 5th. Click through the break for the full review.

Arriving to the Marquee early was an absolute must. Not only was it the first day of Kaskade’s Dayclub residency but it was also Cinco De Mayo. People were lined up early dressed in their best swim suits ready to get inside and party. Once we were able to get in bottle service tables were already filled, people were filling the pool, and a crowd already began gathering in front of the DJ booth. As Kaskade took the booth and began his set everyone turned their head in excitement.

The production quality for the event was awesome. A large LED screen placed above the DJ booth displayed different Kaskade logos as well as some crazy visuals. Dancers were on each side of the booth dancing and waiving American flags all while bubbles and CO2 shot through the air. The 32,000 watt subwoofers blasted out so much bass you could feel it throughout the club. Whether you were standing by the bar, in a pool, or right next to Kaskade, everyone was dancing.

If you know Kaskade’s music then you know it’s absolutely perfect for a pool party. The beautiful vocals throughout all his amazing house tracks create the perfect euphoric Summer Lovin’ vibe. Kaskade went through all of his newer hits including “Llove,” “Turn It Down,” “Room For Happiness,” “No One Knows Who We Are.” and older tracks like “Move For Me.” We can already tell this is going to be one great summer for Kaskade and the Marquee in Las Vegas. It’s nothing but good music, good people, and good vibes. If you are in Vegas this summer you aren’t going to want to miss Summer Lovin’.
