Last Friday night, Control brought out a huge lineup of talent to Avalon Hollywood with Candyland, Far Too Loud, and Cash Cash. This night was full of incredible music ranging from electro, house, and dubstep, to even rock. This was Candyland’s first time headlining the Avalon so it was a very special night for them. As I walked inside the club, Cash Cash was getting the night started up.

The trio known as Cash Cash have made a big name for themselves this year. Their production quality keeps getting better and better with their big remixes to Showtek’s “Booyah” and Krewella’s “Alive.” They also just recently released their debut single “Take Me Home” on their new Overtime EP. The trio had an awesome set full of energy. They never stopped moving and dropped a bunch of electro house bangers. Their set literally had me dancing the entire time. This was my first time catching them and it definitely won’t be my last. 2014 is looking bright for Cash Cash.

Ethan and Joise of Candyland were up next, and Avalon was about to turn up. Candyland are a couple of the most live performers I have ever seen, when it comes to DJing. They jump around, hype up the crowd, and head-bang through out their entire set. Have you ever heard an EDM DJ drop System Of A Down or YMCA in the middle of their set? Well Candyland does, and it works extremely well. Not only that, but halfway through their set Ethan jumped on a set of drums next to the DJ booth and played live while Josie continued to DJ. This took their set to another level and further proves by opinion on how amazing they are live. Their set never let down and they dropped all their OG remixes and original productions, as well as new tracks on their own label, Sweet Shop Records. As always, Avalon continues to raise the bar each Friday night with the best production and sound in Hollywood.
