Best known for his genre-defining hit “Satisfaction,” which helped shape the electro sound of the early 2000s, Benassi returns to his roots on this latest release. “Aku Aku” leans heavily into the raw, mechanical energy that first made his sound so influential in dance music.
The track is built around punchy percussion and a gritty distorted bassline that drives the record from start to finish. Stripped back and club-focused, “Aku Aku” captures electro-house in its purest form, designed for peak-time moments on the dancefloor.
