Last weekend Splash House was the place to be as it concluded its third and final weekend for their 2022 festival series. Thousands of festivalgoers made the trip to Palm Springs to beat the Summer heat and party poolside for a few days of fun in the sun from August 19 – 21. Splash House brought together lovers of house, techno, disco, and more while dressed to impress in bathing suits or funny costumes alike. Festival attendees were treated to a huge lineup of artists which included Malaa, Elderbrook, Noizu, Solardo, Sonny Fodera, and many more who curated the sounds to the weekend.
During the days, the festival took over three resort hotels in Palm Springs which consisted of The Saguaro, Margaritaville, and Renaissance. The resorts were transformed into a bright colorful tropical oasis with cabanas, umbrellas, and shades spraying mist while people packed the pools and stage fronts dancing to music all day long. Festival attendees also decorated their balconies, which just added to the fun vibes of the party. During the night the festival took over the Palm Springs Air Museum for an after hours party, which consisted of Porter Robinson’s Air2Earth, Seth Troxler, Chris Lorenzo, and more. The party didn’t stop there as festivalgoers opened their hotel rooms for house party style DJ sets with friends partying till the early hours of the morning.
While at the festival, we caught a lot of great music. Vindata came through mixing a wide array of music from TroyBoi’s “You Kno” to Too Short’s “Blow The Whistle”. Ferrick Dawn dropped Renato Cohen’s “Suddenly Funk” along with Vintage Culture & Kiko Franco’s remix of “Love Tonight” by Shouse, which has been a huge summer banger. While catching VNSSA’s set we heard her drop Hannah Laing’s “And Back” and Matt Guy’s “Party Starter”. Malaa bought his signature house sound while dropping his own song “How It Is” along with “Made in France”, his collab with DJ Snake, Tchami, and Mercer.
Splash House is totally one of our favorite festivals of the Summer. We can’t wait to return again next year! Check out a bunch of photos from the festival below.
