This past week was very big for EDM in the sense that from coast to coast we had very big events going on. From New York home of the Giants’ Metlife Stadium To California’s Historic L.A Shrine. If you live in NY and are big EDM fan you caught Afrojack, Armin Van Burren, Avicii, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, and Nero to name few for New York’s first EDC. Although we didn’t attend, on the west coast we had the legendary trance group Above and Beyond bring us their Group Therapy tour for three incredible nights. Click through for the full review.
Episode 8 of Tiesto’s “In The Booth” series is now out and for this one we get to see Tiesto on his way to New York. Tiesto plays 3 shows in 3 nights and meets up with his clothing line CLVB LIFE. Tiesto’s clothing line seems to be doing big because he’s got new merchandise out all the time. Finally we see Tiesto venture to headline New York’s biggest festival, Electric Zoo.
New York rejoice as it has now been confirmed that Electric Daisy Carnival is headed your way. Billboard has announced that Insomniac and Pacha NYC have reached an partnership and EDC will be held May 19 & 20. No word on the official line up yet but like all Insomniac events we know its gonna be a good one. Tickets go on sale March 2nd at 3pm, but for now get hyped with the EDC NYC trailer below.
