Last Sunday on April 7th, 2013, Dirty South made a stop at Sound Nightclub in Hollywood. The Grammy nominated producer was there to play an amazing set in celebration for the birthdays of Russian Rob, Igor Zag, and Eli Wehbe. The announcement of Dirty South playing at Sound was only made the day before the event and still the club was completely packed with wall to wall people ready for a great night. Click through the break for the full review.

All of Hollywood’s hottest people filled up the club to witness the talent of Dirty South on the decks. If you have not been to Sound before you need to know that their sound system is one of the best, packing some serious bass. The venue has the DJ booth set up right in the middle of the club with a dance floor centered in front. Go-go dancers are set up in cages around the club and you are literally right there with the DJ making it a much more intimate experience.

Dragan Roganovic or as we all know him, Dirty South, just recently released his first full length album titled Speed Of Life. The album already hit number one on iTunes and is a showcase of the true producing talent of Dirty South. We got to hear several of the tracks during his set as well as some older originals and remixes. Dirty South is in the middle of his own North American tour so it was a special treat for him to make a stop at Sound nightclub that night. An21 and Avicii were also in attendance to for the night which helped create a great vibe and energy around the entire night. At one point a giant cake was brought out as red balloons dropped from the ceiling to celebrate all the birthdays. As usual Dirty South did not disappoint and the entire night was a blast. We hope everyone had a great birthday and an awesome time.
