Last Friday night on May 10th in Hollywood, we took a venture to the sounds of all types of heavy bass at Avalon’s Control Friday’s. Last Sunday on April 7th, 2013, Dirty South made a stop at Sound Nightclub in Hollywood. The Grammy nominated producer was there to play an amazing set in celebration for the birthdays of Russian Rob, Igor Zag, and Eli Wehbe. The announcement of Dirty South playing at Sound was only made the day before the event and still the club was completely packed with wall to wall people ready for a great night. Shermanology recently had their first show at Supperclub in Hollywood and Electronic Spotlight was there to interview them and check out the show. Watch as Shermanology sound checks, discusses their collaboration with Afrojack, and finally blows up Supperclub for their debut appearance.

On December 28th, 2012 we attended Avalon Hollywood for a night of Dubstep and Drum n Bass. Control Fridays had Skream headlining the event along with Dank, Yung Satan, Singularity, and Erick Diaz. On Saturday November 24th 2012 Dirty South made his last stop in the city of Los Angeles for his City Of Dreams Tour. This was his largest North American tour to date and the Australian based DJ ended it with a bang here at the Hollywood Palladium. Dirty South brought along an amazing line up of DJs for this epic sold out show. Upon arrival to the Palladium a line was up around the block of fans eagerly waiting to enter the venue before it had even opened up. Click through the break for the full review.

After a long hiatus from the Los Angeles concert and club scene, Eric Prydz sold out event at the Palladium this past Saturday was nothing short of legendary. With Insomiac events providing their support, and a great selection of opening and, in this case, closing DJ’s the night was set to welcome back the man known as Pryda in true Angeleno fashion. On Friday, July 13 2012, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike made a stop at Playhouse as apart of their Smash The House Tour as well as Playhouse’s 3 Year Anniversary. On Monday June 25, 2012 Afrojack made a stop at Playhouse Hollywood for his Jacked Tour featuring himself along with R3hab & Quintino. This event was also apart of Monday Social’s 16th year anniversary and was massive for Playhouse as Afrojack has been touring all over North America for this Tour. Tickets were selling out extremely fast and if you were one of the lucky ones to attend you were in for a real special treat. Memorial Day Weekend was a wild one and we were lucky enough to catch DJ Chuckie & Gregori Klosman at Playhouse Hollywood for Insomniac’s Road To EDC Las Vegas. This sold out event was insane and if you were lucky enough to come you know exactly what we are talking about. Upon entering Playhouse there was already a line out the door of people anxiously waiting to get in and party.
