Horst Arts & Music Festival Announces Full Lineup for 2025 Edition

Horst Arts & Music Festival returns for its 11th edition at Asiat Park, Vilvoorde, Belgium, unveiling a highly anticipated full lineup announcement on February 4. Taking place from May 1-3, 2025, the festival will welcome 115 unique artists, celebrating electronic music’s diverse and evolving landscape.

Four Tet Headlines an Eclectic Roster

One of the most exciting names for Horst Arts & Music 2025 is Four Tet, performing an exclusive Belgian show on Thursday, May 1.

“Horst has always embraced a broad spectrum of house, techno, and bass & breaks. Four Tet honors that tradition while blending multiple styles seamlessly. That’s when you know it will work at Horst,” says Simon Nowak, music programmer for Horst Arts & Music.

Beyond headliners, Horst continues to curate international trendsetters, emphasizing deep, content-rich music. The 2025 edition features a lineup that challenges norms, showcasing cutting-edge producers, musicians, and innovative DJs.

Global Sounds Take Center Stage

Horst 2025 explores dominant sounds in global club culture that remain underrepresented locally. Highlights include:

  • Makadsi, bridging Arab and North American music cultures.
  • BADSISTA & Verraco, showcasing electronic influences from Brazil and Colombia.
  • Gyrofield, reinventing IDM from Hong Kong.

In addition, DVS1 curates the new Horst stage on Thursday, featuring the legendary dub techno collective Generations in Sync (DJ Pete, Erik Jabari, Moritz von Oswald). Horst staple Job Jobse also returns to provide a signature sunset soundtrack.

The 2025 festival lineup will include a variety of exclusive back-to-back performances, such as:

  • Erol Alkan x Palms Trax
  • Polygonia x Steffi
  • Hannah Holland x Josh Caffé
  • AliA x Mia Koden
  • DJ Stingray 313 x Helena Hauff

American DJ Zak Khutoretsky (DVS1) collaborates with architect Leopold Banchini on a revolutionary festival installation to be revealed in the lead-up to the event.

Horst’s Evolving Festival Landscape

Following its 10th anniversary, Horst enters new territory in 2025. While initial plans aimed to move across the Darse site, licensing challenges delayed the expansion. Instead, the festival is reimagining its current space in an innovative way.

“We believe in sustainable, step-by-step growth,” says Jochem Daelman, Horst organizer. “When the bridge delay became clear, we didn’t sit back. We sought an alternative space that could naturally enrich Horst’s landscape. This search has become the theme of this edition—challenges that offer opportunities.”

International Collaborations & Artistic Partnerships

Horst’s 2025 edition will feature international collaborations, including:

  • Kiosk Radio & The Lot Radio, presenting Moon Ra live-streamed sets featuring acts such as Erykah, Otis, Elisethere, and Emily Jeanne.
  • Resident Advisor’s Vesshcell stage, transformed into a discovery hub for niche electronic performances, including Mark Knekelhuis and Volition Immanent.
  • FOR ALL QUEENS!, returning with a 7-hour performance at Soleil Rouge.
