Splash House August 2023 Weekend 1 Recap

Last weekend the 10th Anniversary of Splash House music festival took place from August 11th to 13th against the breathtaking backdrop of Palm Springs, California. This electrifying festival took place across three luxurious resorts—The Renaissance, The Riviera, and The Saguaro—where festival goers danced in sun-soaked pool parties and hotel lobby after parties. Attendees were treated to a stacked lineup of music which included Odesza, Wax Motif, CID, J. Worra, Vintage Culture, Anna Lunoe, and Lee Foss b2b Deeper Purpose among many more. As the sun blazed across the desert sky, the energy flowed seamlessly as fans packed the festival stages, pools, and even hotel balconies to dance the day and night away to the sounds of house, techno, and bass.

Kicking off the festival pool party were Phantoms and Odesza, who headlined the After Hours event at The Air Museum on the first night. The duo’s ethereal melodies and atmospheric vibe perfectly harmonized with the desert surroundings. Tracks like “Loyal” and “Rush” enveloped the crowd in a sonic embrace, casting a spell that lasted well into the night. This night was amazing start to the incredible weekend we were about to experience.

Saturday’s pool party unfolded as a symphony of beats and splashes. From the packed pools to crowded cabanas, everyone was going wild. Cut Snake, with their dark and groovy beats, primed the atmosphere for what lay ahead. CID’s energetic set created a poolside dance floor like no other, while J. Worra and Lee Foss B2B Deeper Purpose elevated the energy into the night.

As Sunday marked the final day, Splash House brought forth a lineup that ignited the pools once more. Brklyn’s invigorating beats set the tone, followed by Lucati’s infectious groove that got everyone moving. Anna Lunoe’s dynamic set was a masterclass in captivation, electrifying the water-drenched crowd. Wax Motif and Vintage Culture closed the festival with a euphoric flourish, proving that the magic of Splash House knows no bounds.

Once again, Splash House delivered an amazing weekend filled with fun experiences, joy and memories that will last long after the beats have faded. Whether you’re a devoted EDM fan or someone seeking an immersive escape, mark Splash House on your calendar for next year!
