Memorial Day Weekend was a wild one and we were lucky enough to catch DJ Chuckie & Gregori Klosman at Playhouse Hollywood for Insomniac’s Road To EDC Las Vegas. This sold out event was insane and if you were lucky enough to come you know exactly what we are talking about. Upon entering Playhouse there was already a line out the door of people anxiously waiting to get in and party. As we walked in, the music was already bumping, the people were dancing, bottles were popping. Click through the break for the full review.

On Friday May 4th, 2012 Dirty Sexy House & Corona Light presented Electric Beach with one of UK’s greatest, Chris Lake, at Playhouse Hollywood. Upon first entering the club I could feel a great vibe with people dancing early drinking their Coronas while wearing Corona Light themed glasses. Although the club was not filled up with people as early as usual, S.CO had the dance floor on their feet having a great time. As soon as Chris Lake started spinning the club seemed to immediately fill up with people and I knew we were in for a good night. Chris Lake dropped a lot of his own well known tracks including “Build Up” and one of my personal favorites “Sundown”. Once he dropped “Sundown” the crowd went nuts being that it is probably one of his most well known and fan favorite tracks.

Having Chris Lake at Playhouse was a real treat being that he has two Billboard Chart number ones, he’s  the label owner of Rising Music and Rising Trax, and he is becoming one of the best DJ/producers touring around the world. If you were there then I am positive you had one amazing night and if you missed out then I suggest you check out Playhouse for one of their upcoming Dirty Sexy House Fridays. To see pictures from the night head over to Playhouse’s Facebook. For more on Chris Lake head over to the following links.

On April 30th 2012 Insomniac Events presented Bingo Players for Playhouse’s Monday Night Social. This was an event I was really looking forward to as Bingo Players never put on a disappointing set. The sold out night was filled with people ready to party and dance the night away. Andy Darrigo had the crowd warmed up for Bingo Players two hour set starting at Midnight. As soon as Paul Baumer and Maarten Hoogstraten of Bingo players started the crowd went crazy. Glow sticks were passed out and all you could see were colors waiving in the air. Bingo Players used Lil Jon’s vocals to pump everyone up right as they dropped their original track “Mode” and insanity ensued.  Further into their set they dropped another one of their originals, “Cry (Just A Little)” which had everyone singing a long as this is one of their most popular tracks. You know it’s a wild night when Playhouse busts out the confetti machine and as if for a few moments the entire club looked like it was raining down confetti. Playhouse was completely packed and never for one moment during Bingo Players’ set was anyone standing still or sitting down. As “Rattle” was dropped you could see everyone’s glow sticks going up and down in unison along with smiles across everyone’s faces. Bingo Players kept dropping hit after hit and their set never had a dull moment.  As they dropped Hardwell’s bootleg of “No Beef” and “Leave The World Behind,” Playhouse had a guy stand on the bar in front of the crowd with 2 fog guns shooting into the crowd. The club filled up with cold fog and you could hear everyone yelling with happiness. Another huge remix they dropped was probably this years’ most known track “Somebody I Used To Know” by Goyte. Bingo Players tore it up that night and it was probably one of the more wild nights I’ve had at Playhouse in a good while. Playhouse is the place to be every Monday night because Monday Night Social never ceases to amaze. Head over to MNS’ Facebook to check out pictures from the night and for more on Bingo Players head over to the following links.

Cedric Gervais stopped by Hollywood on Friday, April 6,2012 to DJ one hell of a set at Playhouse for Dirty Sexy House night. I was able to make it to the event and had an amazing time. If you’ve ever been to Playhouse then you know there is a bar set up directly in front of the stage. Well for this night the bar was covered up and the stage was extended because this was going to be one wild night. Cedric just released his latest track titled “Molly” which was dropped within 20 min of his set and the crowd went wild. The controversial track is nothing but bangin’ and if you have not seen the music video I suggest you check it out. I shot the quick video above in which he dropped Hard Rock Sofa’s “Quasar” and you can see how insane it was with all those glow sticks waving in the air. Cedric brought colored glasses which were thrown out into the crowd displaying the words “Have You Seen Molly?” across the lenses along with colored jumpsuits in which a couple lucky girls were able to put on. The music was banging, all the beautiful people were dancing, and there was so much energy in the club making Cedric’s set nothing but incredible. If you were there you can check out pictures at Playhouse’s Facebook. Also check out the official video for “Molly” below and for more on Cedric Gervais check out the following links.
